Making a decision for Christ does not guarantee a disciple of Christ
The goal of the Great Commission is not to get a decision for Christ BUT to make a disciple of Christ. For many leaders and laity in the American church this is NOT the focus. Far too many have prioritized happiness other than holiness. True happiness is only found within the confines of true holiness. Those who daily set their hearts to walking in love experience intimacy with Holy Spirit: An intimacy that can’t be explained only experienced

An eternal persective in the minds eye
Did you know there is an Age to come? Have you read in 2 Peter where the heavens will be destroyed by burning & the elements will melt with intense heat? It is written there will be a new heaven and a new earth. Also a new Jerusalem will descend from God out of Heaven. So I ask where will you be when all that comes about?
When planning a trip whether near or far I always look at the destination first. At that point I can begin to work my way back slowly to the starting point. As a disciple of Jesus we have faith and assurance that we are only passing through this present world looking forward to an eternal home.
If your present worldview does not take into account an eternal perspective I challenge you strongly to contemplate an eternal perspective paradigm. It can be a watershed that will enable you to navigate the trials and tribulations of this world with a greater peace of mind.
